We are Charisma Studios, where acting happens. We are dedicated to helping the actor train, develop, and grow both in the craft of acting and in the business of acting.  We offer week long Summer Camps for those who want experience training throughout the summer while they express themselves creatively and dramatically. We provide camps in play performance, improvisation, acting for the camera, and modeling for ages 7  19.

Improvisation: The Fundamentals - Kids & Teens

KIDS | June 8-12 | 10AM  2PM | Ages 7 - 12 | $198*

Improv skills are essential for any actor! Improv helps actors' scenes become more believable and realistic.  Applying the rules of improv also helps actors to think quickly on their feet, and adds charm because students explore spontaneity. There is a live performance at end. (Limit 10)


ACTING: Stage and Screen Camp - Kids & Teens

KIDS | June 22-26 | 10AM  2PM | Ages 7-12 | $238*

TEENS | June 29- July 3 | 10AM  2PM | Ages 12-19 | $238*

This course focuses on the fundamentals of acting for the stage and the screen.  We look at the business side of acting, while we rehearse for auditions, and explore commercials and scene study. We also present our material at the end of the week. (Limit 12)

Modeling Camp - Teens

TEENS | July 6-10 | 10AM  2PM | Ages 12-19 | $198*

Modeling and commercial print will help build students' confidence and educates them on how to use their acting skills for print, the runway, or just for fun. We will present our hard work at the end of the week with a show. (Limit 12)


Play Performance - Kids

KIDS | July 13-17 | 10AM  2PM | Ages 6-12 | $198*

We utilize the small plays used in our after-school program and our weekly classes. We play theatre games, work on creating characters, utilize teamwork, enhance our creativity and have fun! We put it all together that Friday during our live theatre performance. (Limit 16)

Can't commit to our weekly camps? Ah hoy matey! Bring your pirate friends and learn about the first
pirates, the pirate code, and more! Together we will create our own
boats, study oceans & continents, make real treasure maps, and build a
parrot!

Under The Sea (3-5 yrs.)
Come learn about the ocean and the sea creatures that call it home! If
you love fish, sharks and anything that breathes under water, you will
enjoy this week of creative art and water exploration. Kids will
create their own ocean, water life and more. Don't forget your
goggles!

Prehistoric Camp (3-5 yrs.)
Explore a time when dinosaurs inhabited the Earth. Kids will learn
about different types of dinosaurs, their eating habits, where they
lived and more! Through creative play, storybooks, and art activities,
your child will have a new appreciation and respect for these
prehistoric giants!

Medieval Camp (6-10 yrs.)
If you love knights, maidens and stories about King Arthur, then this
is the camp for you. Learn about medieval people, traditional
clothing, castles, chivalry & more through art and role-playing.

Ancient Egypt (6-10 yrs.)
Take a trip back in time and learn about pyramids, pharaohs and
Egyptian life! Kids will create their own hieroglyphics, mini mummies
and treasure maps! Have fun while increasing your knowledge about this
fascinating ancient civilization!

Play In Clay (3-5 yrs.)
A great visual & tactile class for little ones! They'll learn about
shapes, colors, textures, and how to use their hands to make all kinds
of cool stuff out of clay. Kids will also learn basic clay techniques
like rolling, coiling and slabbing!

June 29-July 3

The Great Outdoors (3-5 yrs.)
Kids will learn to appreciate the outdoors in this fun tree-hugging
class. Together we will learn about the 4 seasons, how to identify
trees, outdoor animals, and other pieces of mother nature. A great
class for kids who are fascinated by the world in their backyards.

June 29-July 3

Summer of Service (6-10 yrs.)
If your kid has an appreciation for their community and wants to find
ways to give back, they'll dig this feel-good class. Giving back
through your artwork is not just cool but also a great way to brighten
the lives of those less fortunate than us. We will be creating items &
collectively deciding where to donate them to. Kids CAN make a
difference!

July 6-10

Crawl, Hop & Slither (6-10 yrs.)
If you love green things that crawl, hop and slither, you'll love this
camp! Kids will enjoy using mixed media sculpture to create their
favorite critters and have a blast designing and naming new species of
amphibians & reptiles. A great class for kids to learn more about
frogs, lizards, snakes and turtles!

July 6-10

Buggin' Out (3-5 yrs.)
Ladybugs, bees, grasshoppers and ants! If bugs don't bug you at all,
then we'll see you in class! Invent your own bugs, make bug prints and
sculptures, read books about bugs, and even learn how to move like
bugs! It's what all the buzz is about!

Storybook Camp (3-5 yrs.)
Reading is fun for everyone! Together we'll read and discuss 8-10
great storybooks, explore the characters, meanings in each story ands
more! Kids will love learn about basic book binding, creating their
own short stories, and using cool art supplies to create one of a kind
illustrations!

Harry Potter Camp (6-10 yrs.)
Fans of the Harry Potter series, will love this magical camp! Kids
will learn about Hogwarts, read excerpts from their favorite books,
discuss characters, get sorted by the sorting hat, mix potions, learn
spells and try not to lose House points! Plus we'll be creating cool
wizard artwork and inventing our very own magical creatures!

July 20-24

Go Green! (6-10 yrs.)
Recycling is fun and easy! We'll explore ways to re-use old items and
re-purpose things that usually end up in the trash. An educational
class for kids trying to be more environmentally aware. Together we
will create art that is "green" & functional!

Funny Farm (3-5 yrs.)
Moo! Cluck! Oink! Little ones will giggle while we explore life on a
farm, farm animals and foods that come from farms. Kids will build
their own barns, make farm animal sculptures, create cool prints with
farm foods and more! A fun class for little ones just learning about
farm animals.

July 27-31

Monster Camp
Who says monsters have to be so scary? Not us! Kids will explore a
world of familiar monsters through movies, books and more! Learning
about monsters makes them less scary and definitely easier to go to
bed at night. Together we will make monster masks, read about
monsters, move like monsters and even make our own monster puppets! A
great class for kids trying to overcome their bedtime fears.

July 27-31

Myths & Legends (6-10 yrs.)
Learn about popular myths & legends and create your very own! This
camp is for those who love reading folktales, mysteries and fiction
books. We will be creating cool art based on myths & legends, and
reading from our favorite books. So bring your imagination and your
bookmarks! You won't want to miss this eerie & superstitious class.

Dr. Seuss Camp (3-5 yrs.)
Enjoy the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss through classic storybooks!
Using storytelling, creative arts, and plenty of imagination, children
will explore fun words, magical characters and positive messages in
each story!

Famous Artists (3-5 yrs.)
Learning about art is fun, but creating art in the style of famous
artists is a challenge! Have no fear! Each day we will explore the
life and art of a different artist, learn about the materials used,
experiment with different tools & techniques and create our own
masterpieces.

Inkle Weaving Class
Inkle weaving is simple, fast, portable and fun. This is a good beginning weaving class in which you will weave a narrow band that can then be made into many different things such as, a guitar strap, belt, bookmarks or even a small purse. Students will learn how to warp an inkle loom and weave. There will also be an opportunity to create and weave your own design.

Cost: $45 plus $5 materials fee

Kumihimo on a Disk
Saturday, April 11, 10:00 - 4:00
Kumihimo is the Japanese art of braiding. This class will teach you the process of making a lovely braid, from yarn to finished braid. Two braid patterns will be taught, and you will have a choice of colors for your braid. The class will be taught using a foam disk and plastic bobbins which are included in the supply fee which will allow class participants to make more braids at home.

Cost: $45 + $15 materials fee.
